ZoomCare is seeking a Per Diem Emergency Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our 9 room facility staffed by the nicest people you will ever work with!

The Emergency Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is responsible for delivering top-notch advanced clinical care and superior customer service through the ZoomCare care model. This includes delivering a consistent and high quality ZoomCare experience to all patients using ZoomCare tools and methodologies.

SCHEDULE

  • (3) 12 hour shifts per month, 10am - 10pm.

COMPENSATION

  • Hourly Pay Rate: $79 - 87 per hour dayshift / $87 - $96 for hours 6pm - 10pm

  • ZoomCare Bellevue Super: 345 106th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Perform with expertise everyday procedures (e.g., suturing, digital blocks, vaccinations, splinting, wound care).

  • Excel as a clinician and master of ZoomCare's emergency scope of care in a quick-paced, focused environment (e.g., abdominal pain, chest pain, orthopedic injuries).

  • Complete charts and lab responsibilities (call backs/follow up) on a daily basis.

  • Be comfortable with adults, children and first trimester pregnant patients (no obstetrics).

  • Present oneself professionally in dress, language, demeanor.

  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues about clinical diagnosis, treatment and disposition planning, prices, insurance coverage basics, and the price impact of adding lab tests or selecting various medicines.

  • Be reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts.

  • Display a high degree of compassion and care.

  • Perfect the art of the Perfect Visit to the delight of your patients, utilizing our white board for patient communication.

  • Communicate effectively with patients and know how to anticipate their concerns.

  • Deliver a consistent and high quality ZoomCare experience to all patients using ZoomCare tools and methodologies.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies with certification by the NCCPA or Masters of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner, required.

  • ACLS certified, required.

  • 2+ years experience in an emergency department setting practicing as a full time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Emergency Medicine preferred working with all ages.

  • Recent experience in an emergency medicine setting within the last 5 years, preferred.

  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

  • Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.

  • Eligible to participate in the Medicare program.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.

  • Ability to move to a different clinic location based on business needs.

  • Patient volume may often require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job.

  • Fit tested for an N-95 mask, must be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator.

  • Must wear a mask as needed.
